RESET
Album Review
No Limits is the second full-length recording from Reset, a sonically aggressive punk band from Montreal, Canada. Having laid the foundation with their 1997 debut No Worries, they followed with this impressive and provocative release of fast, hook-heavy songs, ingenuously crafted with clever and penetrating lyrics. Not only does the music pointedly express the conflict between the dreams of youth and the realities of adulthood, ("I Know," "My Dream and I," "Planet Earth"); it also dispenses tightly-wound pop meditations on relationships and societal issues, and rightfully so. Reset haven't forgotten the intuitive obligation of punk rock to challenge ideas and rouse the sensibilities of its core audience. No Limits stays true to punk rock's dynamic code with consciousness and guitars. ~ Roxanne Blanford, All Music Guide
